The Henry Koerner Hall is a dormitory for the students of the famous Bard College Berlin in Germany. Atelier Kempe Thill worked with Labs von Helmholt on this project situated in the Pankow city district. Standing next to the Bard College building, the student dormitory consists of four big apartments and ten duplex units, which can all be accessed via a gallery. Each duplex unit has a double-high living room and offers space for up to eight students. The building was realized with anodized aluminum windows in combination with a dark-gray plastered façade.
