The Atriumhaus built by Atelier Kempe Thill is a new social housing project in the city district of Tenever in Bremen, Germany. Apart from 28 apartments, the house contains a kindergarten for approximately 200 children and a little neighborhood center. All apartments are organized around a double-high central atrium space that functions as a collective entrance hall. The apartments vary in size, and each has a luxurious and secluded outdoor space. The kindergarten on the ground floor is situated around a central multipurpose space with a ceiling height of up to 12 meters. The project was built according to the German low-energy standard and has NaWoh certification for sustainable housing.
