A housing project for psychiatric patients has been realized on the health and care campus in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium. The building consists of small individual living units organized around a double-high collective living room. This common space is meant to serve as a social connector within the new urban villa. Considerable attention has been given to daylight in this project, which offers nice views of the surrounding landscape.
