Atelier Kempe Thill

Atelier Kempe Thill and Osar architects worked together as a joint venture on the development of two new surgery departments for the university hospital in Utrecht, Netherlands. There have been twenty-one state-of-the-art rooms for medical operations realized, extending across a surface of more than 10,000 square meters. The project was designed to meet the newest international standards for surgery. The ambition was to realize a patient- and employee-friendly environment which also functions as a place of education for medical students.
