The Olympiakwartier tower in Almere, Netherlands, was designed by Atelier Kempe Thill as a mixed-use building featuring 60 apartments, 5,000 square meters of shops and office space, and a parking garage for approximately 120 cars. The building stands on a triangular site between a central park and a new market square. The apartments have a fully glazed façade combined with large green balconies. From their homes the inhabitants enjoy brilliant views over the Dutch polder landscape of the IJmeer.
