The new Krattenbrug bicycle bridge built by Atelier Kempe Thill in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has a size of 25 by 2.5 meters and is made of steel. The construction spans the water without extra support, and the beams function as balustrades as well. The whole bridge is wrapped with a stainless-steel mesh to create a monolithic character and to link the bridge with the Open Air Theater on Grotekerkplein.
