The A.I.R. Pavilion was designed by Atelier Kempe Thill for the traveling exhibition Europa’s favorieten, organized by the former Dutch Institute of Architecture, Rotterdam, Netherlands. The building is entirely made of polycarbonate sheets configured as a cylinder that is entered through a narrow doorway. The exposition panels are fixed directly onto the sheets and are illuminated by the natural light passing through the polycarbonate. Two people can put the pavilion together within four hours, and the lightweight character of the material allows it to be transported with great speed.
