Hatje Cantz Verlag published in the summer of 2024 a new book about the work of Atelier Kempe Thill. The second monograph comprises a selected range of 23 buildings realised between 2012 and 2024, as well as several essays by Roberto Gargiani, Christophe van Gerrewey, and Eric Lapierre, among others. Kaye Geipel shares his conversation with André Kempe and Oliver Thill. The partners and founders of the office have in their turn interviewed Manfred Zumpe, one of the former East German pioneers of socialist mass housing. All photographs in the monograph have been taken by Ulrich Schwarz. The graphic design of the 420-page volume is by Heimann + Schwantes.
